My favorite part is that you misspelled retarded.

You misspelled Cain and genocide but that's less ironic.

The GOP wants to do away with Medicare and Social Security for old folks that has been paying in for many years. I do think that they are the ones with the death panels not the Democrats. I do agree that the debt is a serious issue but when it comes to cutting things that old people depend on makes no sense at all. They want to keep giving oil companies our money also which is plain stupid and keep giving rich people more tax breaks that we cannot afford to do.

Both parties suck. The guys in washington never get anything done. The only thing you can do is keep voting new people in. Never let people stay to long.

Provide a source that says the republican party stance is to take away social security and medicare from seniors!!!

Until you do, its fair to say you're a blatant liar.

In addition, seniors have NOT paid in anywhere near what they are collecting in social security and medicare benefits.

The medicare system all by itself will bankrupt this nation and there needs to be severe changes made in order to ensure its survival.

Those solutions will have to include (GASP), people actually having to pay for a larger share of the medical services they consume.

If liberal blowhards get what they want, our country is finished.

100% agreed, both parties are awful and the differences between republicans and democrats is decreasing each year.

Just look at that first bill that both of the parties agreed to after the November mid-terms.

The democrats refused to budge on government spending and the republicans refused to budge on tax hikes. Our country desperately needs to do both so what do these brain-dead democrats and republicans agree to:

Keep spending the same and no tax hikes!!!!

                F**king brilliant!!!

we need a green party movement

a flat 20% sales tax across the board is brilliant

                  no income tax!

let the people who want to save- save!

and let the people who want to spend-spend!

it also taxes all the illegal activity that the gov cant touch right now.

                  it makes sense to me

Sneak-a-peak, what you are talking about is a consumption tax and the republicans have been pushing that idea along with a flat tax for decades.

well then i think the dems are wrong for hating it cuz

every time a boat is bought or a house or a race car or whatever they get taxed 20% which i would think it would all add up to the rich getting taxed fairly.

                      fukk the dems too BTW

For someone who "Used to be a Republican" you got the Democrat talking points down to a tee.

I just can't believe many people think Obama is doing such a great job, that Republicans don't have a chance.

Palin hasn't even announced that she is running.....will be a factor....her endorsement will be golden.

Bachman actually had a job outside of politics, unlike Obama.

Obama is not a God. He screwed up royally in his first term.

                                                  Yet Republicans have no chance?

Get off Obama's dikk, and wake up to reality.

OP- from what I've seen, Romney is still first in polling. Palin would never win the nomination, because too many independents don't like her. I would like to see a Romney/Ron Paul ticket, personally. Gingrich wouldn't be bad either. We really need people with fiscal sense in charge.

Simply put, yes. Why should productive members of society have to sacrifice in any way to help someone that was unwilling to help himself over the course of his life? His option will be to appeal to charities for money for his treatment.

The new plans are trying to make sure that those of us who are paying in now, will get at least a marginal % of it back when it's our time.
