Awesome . . . a long-sleeved shirt for the final-day giveaway . . . just what I need in Florida. I'll be there for the final weekend — Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

they are desperate to keep attendance figures up. place is not user friendly. unless you have a seat in their miniscule grandstand you can't see the races unless you watch on monitors. not enough tellers and the self serve machines are sun blinded. long lines for overpriced concessions. mean traffic cops outside won't allow alighting(letting people out of cars in road so they won't have to walk 1/2 miles to get in.) better off going to harness track across street from backstretch and watching and betting there. (especially if you want to play slots between races)

never once had to wait long for a teller...why would you wait in line for concessions when you can bring coolers of your own food/beverage ? Harness track??? Are you serious? How could you even compare the 2??

valid comparison for comforts sake..you can bet all the tracks including the one you have trouble shoehorning your way into..the overrated saratoga race course..go stand in the hot sun for 5 hours if you are into that type of entertainment of seeing it live.. which you can't see unless you have a seat...

I was at Saratoga last year for the 1st time and it was amazing, definitely the best racetrack i've ever been too. Im not sure what unusial is talking about, i never had a problem betting, even on Travers day and had no issue watching the races outside.

yes, it's charming and rustic and the air is of high quality and it really isn't that crowded on a weekday. my experiences were on busy saturdays and it was tough to find your bearings and be able to concentrate on picking winners with the large tourist crowds. the novelty has worn off and being in an airconditioned otb if preferable.. have fun up there...

you can wear whatever you want if you are just going general admission or grandstand...only have to dress nice for clubhouse..going early to snag a picnic table is the way to go
