Will only make a bad situation worse. Condolences man but be careful. Don't make things even tougher on you and your family than they currently are.

a grandfather loss is hardly a major thing. go out and party unless funeral if you plan on even attending is the next day. everyone loses their grandparents. it is expected. it takes a couple of hours to get over it. that's all. if this seems harsh so be it. but it is reality..

i would say more than 75% of grandfathers will 4 or more grandchildren couldn't name them..and about 15% of the remaining would struggle to remember their names. when you reach that age you have had enough of kids and only pretend to care.

Stay strong Niners, always tough to lose a family member................... Remember the good times you spent with your Gramps, those are the memories you want to remember! I come from a huge family, lots of aunts , uncles etc, And have seen quite a few pass away the last few years. Always good to spend sometime with the family during these times and mourn the loss together! Best of luck and Say a prayer for your Gramps, FBT

On a more serious note, my condolences go out to you and your family. Losing a member of your family has to be one of the hardest things to deal with. My thoughts and prayers are with you pal.

Terribly sorry for your loss, pal.
Never a good time for things like this. Unfortunately, death is simply a part of life.
Celebrate the life he lived. I would imagine this is how he would want it.
God bless.

Sorry to hear!
My mom passed away 2 days before my birthday last year. Go out for a round of golf with your buddies and clear your head. Your grandpa is in a better place.
