    A Baseball Trend I've Noticed
I was off work today, so I was playing around with numbers and found a recent trend. I looked over the last six weeks at line movements and found that favorites that are bet against enough to move their line 10 points or more (Example: -130 to -120) are 58-47 (55.23 %). If they became an underdog and you bet the favorites at -1.5 runs, the record was 49-56 (46.67%). These numbers pretty much break you even, but the last 2 weeks have improved.

In the last 2 weeks, the record is 17-10 (62.96%) with the record staying the same if they are an underdog or you bet -1.5 run favorite. I'm still learning about handicapping, but I wonder if the recent better percentage can be attributed to a change in betting habits in June. Just something I thought I'd throw out there.

Generally speaking, line movement isn't predictive of anything.
