will play offshore more than local like I have done for about 5 years now until something happens negatively in the industry... use to only play local, like 8 years straight and never thought I would go offshore but with the number of options, offshore is a must IMO

if I still lived in the same area in Mass where I went to school, I can honestly say I would have never even bothered going offshore. These guys were connected, had a website, limits were high, no worries of getting paid, just would meet runner and his wife with a girl I was seeing at time every Tuesday, exchange envelope while the girls got table, then eat supper. Those were the easy days of getting paid by a book.

To be completely honest my pops helped me pick those plays to get back on my feet. Watched pinny line moves and said risk it all if you lose I'll give u the cash (win-win situation for me cause I'm his son) and they all won. I was shocked, really going to start looking at lines now along with my usual hours of research.

IMO I think this year is going to really hurt the offshore industry. Anybody thats been around for a while knows the bread and butter for offshore is football season. Online gambling as a whole has really been put in the spotlight this year with the poker sites being shut down. Couple that a few books getting their domains seized. Of course vets in this game can still get a bet down with offshore books. The most volume though comes from the young college kids. The younger demographic is where offshore has ALWAYS made their money. How can offshore survive? when the only profits from football are coming from players that have been in the game since the mid 90's.
