    Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun
Going up to Conn. today. Which casino is more enjoyable, and do they have sportsbooks? Someone told me they have some state law that stops drink service at midnight. That would suck.

No sportsbooks. I don't know what time drink service ends, but it hardly matters because the waitresses rarely come around anyway, at least playing table games at Mohegan. Mohegan Sun doesn't have poker anymore so if that's your game go to Foxwoods. Mohegan was a nicer casino but Foxwoods has a new tower/casino (MGM Grand at Foxwoods) which I haven't checked out yet, so I don't know which one's better now.

Also they are probably < 20 mins from each other so if you are driving you may as well check out both.

I prefer Mohegan Sun. You may want to visit Foxwoods though and check out the new MGM Grand...opened last month.

Also, no poker at Mohegan Sun. They were busted a few years ago for running coke and prostitutes out of the card room...regulators shut them down.

Once your up in Conn , you might as we'll check them both out.
10 minutes from casino to casino. great golfing.
No sportsbook, but Foxwoods has a nice horse betting area.
Poker only at Foxwoods, old poker room manager chinese Peter and his crew
            had various side buisnesses running.

Hotels on site, but if your staying for a while you can get weekly rates in Mystic
            or Grotton 15 mins away.

Great value at foxwoods breakfast buffet.

Have fun if your staying a while, take a short ride up the 95 and catch a Red Sox
            game.

            HAVE FUN

I may be redundant on a few topics here but:

Take the time to see both. They are a short drive from each other. Totally different interiors with a lot to see. Was not always that way. Check out the MGM. It's brand new. Not ne w enough though. Already had a jumper from the parking garage like the first two weeks. If you are with a women, try out the Norwich Inn and Spa. It will get you relaxed ( and probably laid) and chicks dig that shit. It doesn't hurt that it's about halfway between the two casino. Golf is great but not on the main property. It's a drive to get there.

No poker at Mohegan, the stories posted about the extras there were all true. They do have a new poker game that is all electronic. I forget whats it called but it's pretty cool. It basically simulates an online poker game. You sit at a regular table but each player has a screen in front of them and there are no cards. It is basically the same as 9 people sitting at their home computers and playing. You fund your Wampum card with cash and then you swipe it in the machine and it funds your play. Just like online, but you get to see the other players. It's interesting. Don't know if it will catch on.

Horses are most comfortable at Foxwoods. Table games are tough to get a seat and they are not cheap. Not like Vegas. Mostly $25 Min at night. Craps is $10-$15 Min.

Drinking is run by our state laws. Till 1 A.M Sun-Thur and till 2 A.M Friday and Saturday.

No sports wagering at all. It's only legal in NV.

Foxwoods is better in my opinion, but I also like going there so I can play the golf course for free with my points. Dont bother with the MGM, everyone who has checked it out has said the same thing, too small and a pain to get to.

The higher limit areas at Foxwoods are also more secluded and better than Mohegan.

Mohegan probably does have better restaurants and is a great place to watch a concert
