How is it the Marlins have to play the series as the home team in Seattle? Don't they have a contract with the owners of the stadium???
How does the MLB commisioner allow U2 to force out the Marlins this weekend?

#11Marlins wouldnt have a bigger attendance than U2 if they won 110 games and it was game 7 in the world series. that being said this shouldn't happenComment -

#12It's not the commissioner. It's what the heck is going on with the the stadium? The schedule was out months ago, so why are they scheduling a band there during a homestand for the Marlins?
Bud Selig doesn't have control over this.[quote=jjgold;5683305]I win again like usual

#13That is plain sad. That should really make the team and players care about winning. Bumping their home games for the series 3000 miles away.Comment -

#15They should at least start it at 4pm PST instead of 7pm PST. Giving the players somewhat a feel of a home start time.

#18Bud Selig can't control what Sun Life Stadium does. It's not part of his job because again, he can't do anything about it.Originally posted by BluehorseshoeIt's his job to make sure it doesn't happen. The Mariners get three extra home games now.
I do think they could've found a better solution than moving it to Seattle, though.[quote=jjgold;5683305]I win again like usual

What I'm saying is, why wouldn't MLB force it's owners to not allow outs like this? They're involved in every aspect, why not the leases? If Texas loses the West by a half a game to Seattle, I'd be pissed if I was them.Comment -
