your assumption would be bos is the better team because they won at home but let a team go on a 10,000 - 1 run in the 4th q barely sneaking away with the win ? makes alot of sense . COCO FOR COCOA PUFFS TOO ?
the fact is the lakers could have stolen game 2 very easily , very very ****ing easily !!! WHAT KIND OF CHAMPIONSHIP CALIBER TEAM LETS SOMEONE DO THAT TO THEM ON THEIR HOME FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKKKIN COURT ?
ANSWER >>> NOT A VERY ****ING GOOD ONE !!!! GET IT ?

The point regarding the Philly/Detorit series is that three games isn't a large enough sample size to accurately gauge who is the better team in this series, particularly when each team has defended its home court to this point.

No, not just the three games. What the Celtics have done is validate that their regular season season was legitimate. Before this series, many people including myself felt that the Lakers were better because the West was better, but if that was indeed the case, the Lakers would have made a statement in Game 2 and at the very least, in their first home game in Game 3. The fact that they didn't in either game and that the Celtics almost won in LA while playing like horseshit Tuesday is all I need to know.

and the west is always better, since when has the western conf not been better? but it didn't matter in 04 when detroit won and in 06 when miami won, when the finals begin its about matchups, last yr's matchup favored the spurs over the cavs, this yrs matchup, in my mind, favors the celtics, which is why i grabbed it at +180, i couldnt believe that boston was getting no respect, d wins in the end, and no one can question the d that bos has!

on lake show baby ! if no good nothing i can do but have more confirmation how much i dislike messing with nba .

a great way to bet nba is just play the opposite of what you like and what makes sense . someone with a strange warped sense of sports can do very well in nba . if you watch all the games all throughout the year and know everything about it you actually may lose $ . lol

game is too influnced by the refs and they all cry too much , coaches , the players , it really makes me sick honestly . they all glorify themselves too much . think they are all that . i would much rather be in the good old days when everyone wasn't a millionaire . like when garnett asked chamberlain if he ever just wanted to reject someones shot into the stands saying get that shi! outa here and chamberlian responded no . was something like that ... i forget exactly in how to word it . another words these guys today really really disappoint me ... i even remember watching the first silent broadcast of a nfl football game , was dolphins or jets i think . it was an experiment on nbc i think . i was like 8 or 9 years old .
just play the fricken game right , stop ****in crying , and for the announcers just talk about the gd game !!! plzzzz

the afc is better than the nfc each yr for the last decade but who won the SB in after 02 season and 07 season, the nfc team (bucs and giants), when the finals begin, its not conf vs. conf, its one team vs. another, the celtics were 25-5 vs. the west this season, if someone did not know that, they had no business bettin on the finals

yeah i wish i was born 15 years earlier than i was so i could really be in there on the betting scene . seems the past was so much better than what we are in now .
like in the movie the sting , i would like to have been one of those guys . robert redford ... haha
man , i wish i was the way i am now in say 1972 , i would have pounced on the steelers !!!! been all over every one of the dynasty teams .. no dynasty teams anymore . everything is watered down and more about $ . i do count my blessings though at the same time . but man i wish i was like i am now as an adult back in the days ..
to be able to ride the dynasty team all the way to the bank for a season and for the big game . haha oh well .

                          Hoopster,

I think you may have misinterpreted what I said. I DO think that the West is the better conference top to bottom. What I meant was that if the Lakers were really the better of these two teams, they would have made a statement in one of the last two games.

Celtics only down 21. They would probably be down 40 if they weren't "clearly the better team" in this series.

There's no room for being a fan when you gamble on sports. Maybe one day this will be a concept that you fully grasp.

You can be a "fan" of a team(s) and still grasp the concept of not betting with your heart.

Hopefully you can grasp that someday.
