JJ has buried more professional athletes in his career than any other poster. The moment he likes someone they tank.

It's clearly his signature win. Nothing else is close.

              Zero fight
              JJ,
If he had "zero fight" wouldn't he have lost in straight sets? Something like 6-2, 6-3, 6-1. That would have been zero fight. Losing in 5 sets after being up 2 sets is a bad loss, especially for someone as good as Fed. But it is hardly a pathetic performance with zero fight...

fed didnt seem motivated, hungry or didnt even seem to care it seemed after the 2nd set

He needs to gain 5 pounds and some strength. He can be overpowered. Just haven't been alot of guys like this on tour

I agree. Fed needs to bulk up a little and get in the gym as well. If he doesn't start building muscle, his game is going to go downhill from here as he gets older.

He is 29 years old , thats pretty old in tennis. It almost getting into Brett favre territory in tennis nowadays. Agassi is a notable exception, Lendl and Sampras had some wins into their early 30s.

Connors reached the semi at the open iat 38 or 39 if I remember correctly. These hard courts especially will destroy your knees. Its a young mans game. Santoro is almost 40 and still playing though, I just dont see roger going off into the sunset in total decline though.

He is not the same player he once was but who knows, maybe he has a US open championship in him this year.

the way tsonga played the last 3 sets, not too many could of beat them on their best day, fed had 11 errors the whole match.

errors mean nothing on grass in the men's game, whoever dictates wins the match

I think poster Tsonga had a hunch Federer was not going to win Wimbledon.
