I'm gonna have to say the New orleans hornets. I think the knicks will get chris paul, Which means all they'll really have is treva ariza. Ariza is a good third option on a decent team, but not a player that can carry a squad. Hornets without a shadow of a doubt will be abismal. Jazz will suck too.
Who will be the worst NBA team next year? (best chance at #1 pick)

#4I forget about the raps. You're right they'll prob. be worse then the hornets. They've just sucked for so long that they slipped my mind as a organization.Originally posted by frizzelliraps guarenteedComment -

#8Paul not a free agent until 2012... so he will be a hornet next year, at least until the trade deadline. Pretty sure the knicks have nothing to offer for trade but billups expiring contract. Knicks will be capped out after the new CBA anyway so nope, imam shupert is their point guard of the future.Originally posted by jazzyj7I'm gonna have to say the New orleans hornets. Amare due for another serious injury, played heavy minutes last year and was wearing down the last few months of the season... Knicks might suck pretty bad.
I think Detroit will be the worst team next season. Minnesota has a mess to figure out, the suns are really really old and poorly managed.. but Detroit should be the worst team.Comment -

#13Bobcats, look for them to throw the season. The have a first round draft pick that Chicago has the rights to but is protected if its a high pick.Comment -

T-Wolves/Kings/Pistons/Nets/Bobcats/Raptors/Cavs/Clippers will all be worse. None of those teams have a player comparable to Chris Paul, sans the Nets w/ Deron Willy. Hornets still have a decent starting 5, that includes David West.Comment -

#20Clippers are not in the same sentence as those other teams. Blake Griffen is an All-Star and Eric Gordon is very close to one as well averaging 22ppg.Originally posted by HoulihansTXThe hornets will be fine.

They will always be a lock to suck. Bad ownership, and Cousin Vinnie is not an NBA coach.Comment -

#32rockets. they fired the one of the top 3 coaches in the nba because they keep overachieving. so they hired a bad coach as a scapegoat to get them to the bottom of the league to get some high draft picks in the next few years.Comment -
