I think the Mavericks are going to turn out like the White Sox after their 2005 World Series Championship. They were completely dominant in the post-season (11-1), but ended up being one and out. No repeats, no three-peats, just one and out.

They got Ray Felton huge upgrade over Miller because he is a decent shooter, Miller cannot shoot from outside kills Portlands offense

Amen. People in PDX loved Miller, but his lack of 3 pt shooting killed our offense. Millers Post and Mid-range games are elite though.

Felton is point just entering his prime. He was a near allstar last year, and even if he shoots 35% from 3pt land it would be huge.

As for Fernandez, IMO it wasnt really difficult to let him go. He hasnt played good in a very very very long time for the Blazers. Plus he was expendable since we have Roy and Matthews.

They will still be good but a team that is satisfied and a team with a bulls eye on them is not a plan for playoff success.

kobe played progressively worse in the dallas series
and he didnt just get swept, he got blowned the F' out in the last game
i dunno about the lakers next year, at his age, hes more likely to be less effective in the upcoming years

He's becoming less effective every year in the playoffs. He was even worse than he was in the finals last year.
