No, most are worth at least 2x their face value and many much more due to their scarcity(limited and/or discontinued) and their popularity(old casinos such as Dunes, Sands, Landmark, etc., etc).


Plus, if one recalls the OLD Castaways on the strip(where Mirage is now), when they closed in 1987 worked in the sportsbook there and was offerred to take pretty much as many of the sportsbooks chips as I could, thus have close to 100 $25, $500, and $1000 chips like these..............






These chips were handled by some of the most legendary sportsbettors of all-time.
