at this point in their careers, I would say that carp and oswalt are pretty similar (when healthy of course).. neither are the pitchers they once were, but both still have the ability to be very good at times. Since oswalts dl stint and when he hurt himself on his tractor helping out his family, he hasnt been the same. Prior to that, he was 11-2 as a phillie and was a top pitcher in all of baseball the last few months of the season last yr. He needs to take some time off to healthy and get his mindset right.. he just is not right right now.. but yes, tonight carp > oswalt. On the season as a whole, oswalt > carp... as two pure pitchers at this stage in their careers, carp = oswalt.

games like tonight suck though, bc though it makes no difference in the world, it kills fun team stats by having retards like baez come in and give up 6 runs in the 8th. The #2 ranked pen in baseball based on stats takes a huge hit in games like this when all these bums get to pitch... Phills pen, while definitely not the #2 in baseball based on talent, has pitched very well this yr.. sucks to see non regulars come in and f*ck it up in garbage time...oh well, all part of the game.

Carp had some of the highest BABIP I've ever seen in the first two months. Watch him to really turn it up going forward. Just glad my over cashed.

Wow, I went to run the dog at 6-1 thinking (as some did as well) that STL's pen might jam out and give my PHI wager a chance. Swing and a miss. Both these teams can really crank it when they're in a rhythm. Cheers
