The line confused me a bit, if Switz big star is out, why are they still favored, because of home advantage? Something doesn't smell right.

Bad blood between these two. Last time they played this happened.
Switzerland v Turkey - have old scores been forgotten?
Geneva (dpa) - Euro 2008 organizers and Swiss authorities are playing down any chance of a repeat of the violence that overshadowed Switzerland and Turkey's last encounter three years ago.
Players and officials are also on a de-escalation course ahead of Wednesday's group A match in Basle which could see the losing side eliminated from the tournament.
Turkey coach Fatih Terim has sent his Swiss counterpart Koebi Kuhn an SMS text message to inquire about Kuhn's wife's health after she was hospitalized last week.
The Swiss media has also been cautious about the issue although the Blick tabloid said on Tuesday: "It's over but not forgotten."
The daily quoted defender Stephane Grichtig as still suffering from a kick he received on that fateful night in Istanbul while Tranquillo Barnetta told Blick he expected a Swiss win.
"Of course we have not forgotten what happened. We can't change it, but it wasn't nice. But regardless of what has happened: It is a crunch game like the one in Istanbul. And we will prevail again," said Barnetta.
The November 2005 match in Istanbul ended with one of the ugliest outbursts of violence - after the Swiss advanced to the 2006 World Cup on the away goals rule from a 4-2 defeat on the night.
TV showed Switzerland's Benjamin Huggel kicking a member of the Turkish coaching staff as he ran off the pitch and there was further trouble in the tunnel. The Swiss players left the pitch under a hail of objects thrown by the Turkish crowd.
Players and officials from both sides received bans and Turkey were ordered to play the first three Euro 2008 home qualifiers behind closed doors on neutral ground.
Now they meet again, for the first time at a big tournament. In eight competitive matches, Turkey has emerged victorious on four occasions and Switzerland twice.
"We are not especially concerned about individual matches. We hope that the security system works at every match," said William Gaillard, the communications chief of Europe's ruling body UEFA.
Basle police spokesman Klaus Mannhart agreed, telling journalists: "The safety arrangements for the match between Switzerland and Turkey are the same as for any other game."
Swiss organizing committee spokeswoman Pascale Voegeli expressed her hope "for a good cooperation with the authorities of both countries."
Some 12,000 people of Turkish origin live in the cantons of Basle city and Basle countryside. Many were Kurds fleeing political suppression and economic hardship in the 80's.
Turkish police "hooligan spotters" count among the national forces that have been brought in to help the Swiss and Austrians to maintain security during Euro 2008. Their job is to spot known troublemakers from their country out on the streets.
In a meeting with the press in Geneva, ahead of Turkey's game against Portugal on Saturday, officers were confident in the knowledge that known hooligans had been refused tickets.
Mustafa Aygun, a chief superintendent from the Turkish police, said supporters of his national team were "calm, polite and respectful" and he did not expect problems.
Any troublemakers in Basle can look forward to a visit to the 19th century "Schaellemaettelli" prison. Soon to be demolished, the city has spent 469,000 US dollars turning it into a temporary detention centre which can hold up to 400 people.
Basle City has done what it can to make sure it does not come to that. It has organized a number of cultural events ahead of Wednesday's Switzerland-Turkey match to smooth the way and ensure that 2005 is not revisited.

Crazy match.I think the rain stopped but it doesn't really matter since the field is a lake.
Hopefully the match isn't abandoned.I think that cancels out all of the bets UNLESS the game is played again within three days which would then mean that people with bets on the game would have the money tied up until they finish the game. That would suck either way
