#38I see a lot of homers in here talking about easy conferences. Cut the B.S. homers. First, you MUST look at a team that has a very easy non-con schedule. That is #1. Alabama goes to Penn State. Oklahoma goes to Florida State. You homers can eliminate those four teams. You can also eliminate any team from competitve conferences, so that takes care of the Big 10+2, Pac 12, and SEC. My vote goes to Va. Tech. Their non-con schedule is home to App. State and Arkansas State, and away at East Carolina and Marshall. Not one of those teams is in the Top 70 in the nation, much less Top 40. Va. Tech hosts Miami and UNC, and gets ACC Atlantic opponents Clemson, Boston College, and at Wake Forest, the three teams that many predict to finish 4-5-6 in the Atlantic. The only potential difficult game that I can see on their REGULAR SEASON schedule is at Ga. Tech. Now when they play Florida State in the ACC Championship game, all of that changes, but talking regular season here, Va. Tech has it about as easy as you can.Comment -

#39It was close between Boise St. and Va. Tech with the difference maker being the fact that Boise opens with a tough game vs. Georgia away form home. Va. Tech's most challenging games are at home with their away and non conf. games cake as they say. The over achieving Hokies get my vote also.Comment -

#41Interesting schedule they do not even play FSU. I don't know what type of Qb play they have this year, Appy St. might beat them the first game.Comment -

#45Houston's looks pretty weak with Case Keenum back at QB. UCLA probably their toughest game and that's a non-conference one.Comment
