How many games will the Lakers cover in the finals?

They're 0-3 right now. It's been my experience that the Lakers have a poor record ATS. They may cover once or twice but I don't think they're a good bet.

Funny you say that, for some reason I rarely find myself on Kobe's side too. I'd be watching him all year just take over games, make everything look so easy, but in general I feel they've been inflated in Yankees fashion for a while so I've stayed clear.

its really hard to say, the longer the series goes, the more the lines will adjust, the shorter the series, the better chance they have not to cover, just like '04 lakers who went 0-4-1 ATS in the finals where detroit kicked their asses

I voted 0 (that's ZERO), and this is coming from someone that picked Lakers in 5 before the series started. I love the Celtics +8ish next game, and I feel they will win at least one of the next two games in LA outright.

Just look at the last two games, both instances where the Lakers had to make a statement if they were to have any chance to win this series. First they go down 22 before that rally made the score look closer than the game really was in Game 2, then they can't put the Celts away in the fourth quarter and end up not covering in Game 3 at home. And the Celts will play much better in Game 4. I thnk that the only way the Lakers cover ANY game is if the Celts win outright in Game 4, because they may then relax a bit and allow the Lakers to cover Game 5 before winning handily in Game 6 back at home.
