I don't think so, Bill. And I think this is a perfect opportunity to take the Celtic's here. They won the last 2 road games against a 59 win team, who I feel was a tough match-up for them than the Lakers are. Do you agree?

Yes, I don't have an opinion on the game but at 9.5 you start entering into backdoor cover territory. That's a lot of points. Even if the Lakers smoke em, with 9.5 the Celts could start the 4th down 20 and you are still in in garbage time. I'm surprised this one didn't get bet back down to 7'.

I can only even remember a handful of times Boston was dogged, each when it was presumed Doc would be benching players. There was a fairly big steam move against the Hawks and the Celtics still won and covered. Bettors were pissed.

It's easy to pile on with the Celts winning in the 4th but this is one of those where the public kept the Lakers at 9.5. It's unheard of for the owner of the NBA's best record to beat the other team during the season and the playoffs and still be be forecasted to be blown out.

Believe it or not, the most points the Celtics got in any game until tonight was +6 at Detroit in the East Finals! The most points they got in any reghular season game was +4.5 at Houston in the game where they snapped the Rockets 20-something game winning streak. They have gotten more points than that several times in the playoffs.
