ESPN reports Cavs are taking Irving at No. 1, which is not a huge suprise, but I still think they might be better off taking Williams and going for Knight or Walker with the No. 4 pick.
Irving or Williams at No. 1?

#2Cavs said theyre taking Irving which is kind of hilarious to me.
Williams looks like a beast with an NBA ready body.
Irving spent half the year injured and although clearly athletically gifted did not dominate when he did play this year.Comment -

#3Williams is much better
NBA has tons of guys like Irving, he is a nobody and not a team playerComment -

#6Irving easy, Williams may even fall to 4 but probably not. Williams is a beast but I don't think he'll amount more than an athletic rebounding forward in the NBA.Comment -

#9I agree, you have to take Irving. When it comes to the draft, you go: PG, C, scorer. In that order. The only reason you deviate is if its a once in a lifetime type talent, and there just aren't any of those in this draft.
Now, if you want to make the case that Kyrie Irving isn't the best PG in the draft, then go ahead and take Williams and hope either Irving or Knight is available at #4.Comment -

#20The smart move would be to take Williams at 1 and use the 4th pick to either take Walker or Knight. I'd take Williams and flip the 4 pick and a player to Portland for Miller and a pick. He'll be steady till they find a young kid to take over the reigns.
And buy Baron out of his deal.Comment -

#21I like the Cav's taking Irving at 1 since this really is a poor year to try and pick up that "franchise" guy. Looking like they might try and trade 4 would be nice to get a proven player and another pick for that pick.Comment -

#28I know I have said this on here many times, but the fact that people but Brandon Knight so ahead of Kemba Walker is laughable. Kemba is twice the player Brandon is."This is why my basketball intelligence is unmatched on this site. I'm sure there are better cappers but no one can tell you the strategies of most coaches before the game even starts "

#29Knight seems like the special PG to me if there really is one in this year's draft at all. I would go with Williams at no.1 and Kanter at no. 4.
If Kanter isn't available take Knight or Kemba Walker at no.4.Comment -
