I love matchbook but...

There has to be a way to make it more efficient. IMO - It is just like the stock market .If you understand how stock is traded, you will understand what I am saying below. These are two suggestions I wish matchbook would utilize.


1. Some kind of "chat room/messanger." - This would allow me to talk to my buyer or seller to get things moving alot quicker and im sure we could come to a agreement alot faster than just waiting around for someone to pick up the order.

2. An "All or None" feature so instead of people take 1/2 of your bet, they would have to take the whole thing or nothing at all. - Im just sick of putting in a bet for $200 and someone takes $5 out of it then someone else take $110 and then Im stuck with $85 left and the last guy maybe looking for $100 and he wont take the remaider my order.

Any suggestions or comments about these or MB in general?

JJ, Like what? Only thing I can think of would be instead of putting all of the baseball games seperate...put them on one page...I just seem to like this better so I dont have to click back and forth.

What exactly would you say to a potential buyer to get them to take your offer? Adding chat to speed things up, huh? Interesting.

2. My big suggestion to MB would be to get rid of that bug that occasionally displays my balances as $0.00 when I logon (upon logging out and back in the proper balances are restored). I lose a couple months off my life every time that happens. Does anyone else experience that fun little bug?

You could say whatever you want. Idk maybe discuss some stats to try to pursuade or just ask why if they will take -162 when they are requesting -161...you could even ask how much would you want it for...

And you wouldnt have to convay every offer...you could simply put something as small as a little red triangle in the top right corner of the box to notify the person that its all or none.(See youtubes "show parteners only" for a better idea of what Im reffering to"

Right, but there are usually multiple offers at a given price, and the earlier offers must be matched first. I just don't see it happening.

I don't really understand the motivation, either. If I'm trying to get the best price on the market at MB, I'd definitely rather have some of my wager placed than none of it.
