Those stats of CC are very deceiving. In 2008 (when he was traded) he pitched three games vs. them and had a 2.7 ERA and a 1.10 WHIP.

Those stats are really really bad because if you looked up the stats 1 game in 2006, he pitched 2.1 innings and gave up 9 ER.

So he dominated in 2008 in three games, and had one terrible game in 2006.
