I am very confident that the Lakers will win this game straight up (although as you see from my thread yesterday, I now think the Celtics will win the series), but there is no way I could lay either 9.5 points or -550 on the Money Line. On the flip side, while it obviously looks very tempting to take the Celtics with all of these points, the Lakers do fall into the Game 3 home faves down 0-2 angle that is over 60% in the playoffs since 1990, and has lost just once this season.

Ergo, PASS.

Actually it is Game 3 Home Favorites of -4 or more down 0-2. That angle is 63-41, 60.6% ATS since 1990 and 7-1 this year. But I agree that laying those points is crazy too.

I would do it the other way. Lakers -5.5 I think they are going to beat the shit out of Boston and -5.5 is better then them covering 12.5. Think they win by 15 or 20 tonight.
