Back in December 07 in NFL Season, i was on fire! I won about 14 straight games. About 4 in the NFL and 10 NBA (All 10 were on the Blazers during their long winning streak).

it was just one of those 'once in a lifetime' thing , remember i'm almost 60yo , been to vegas too many times to remember and lived there for 2 yrs.

Won 11 hands of blackjack in a row once (plus some pushes in there, probably 13-15 hands without losing). None of them were blackjacks, and it was at a $5 table, and I wasn't pressing my bets, so I won $55. Tipped $5 and left with double my buy-in. I was drunk and it was late so I hardly realized what was happening. I think back on it now and realize it was the biggest gambling rush I will ever have, and yet I only cleared $50. I feel like it was the gambling gods telling me, "yes, you are lucky, but you will never make it big."
