Last night a tornado came within 1.5 miles of my house. I actually saw it going through the town next to me. The tornado ended up being on the ground for almost an hour. It started off near Pontiac Illinois and traveled up into Lake County Indiana where I am from. I hope I never have to relive those tense moments again.

back in like 95 or 96 a tornado ripped through close to me, i had a friend who lived in some apartments and him and his neighbor were watching it come towards them and his neighbor filmed it. when the TV crews showed up, he went around to them offering his footage, i think he got like $300 from one of them.
