I just mentioned that in a soccer thread, is what gave me the idea to start this one. Soccer looks amazing in HD, the sport itself is growing on me from a watching perspective, but having to sweat ties all the time sucks from a game play perspective. Should have sudden death.

What kind of TV do you have?

I have a Samsung Plasma but I don't believe 1080p is available for me, I keep mine on one of the other settings at its native res.

Hockey hands down is made for HD. The comparison destroys the difference in visuals in any other sport.

Hockey seems benefit the most from the move to HD. Actually seeing the puck clearly is nice and the wide format is perfect.

I think golf is the most attractive sport that I've seen, but I haven't caught a soccer match in HD yet.

I wish I could watch the races in HD. I know the BC is in HD, but I never did get a chance to see it. Most track feeds look like eastern european snuff films.
