I need help from Canadians

my daughter is flyng today with a V I S A for 6 months.
So she has booked return ticket for 12/15/2011
At airport employee said her that 6 month = 180 days. So she has to change ticket? Kindly employee printed a return ticket for 12/13/2011 but only to pass immigration
Is 6 months or 180 day.
I try to call Canadian Embassy at Rome, but closed.
Can anyone check and answer me for a sure anwer?
Tomorrow (tonight in Canada) she has to produce real ticket (12/15) or "false" ticket?

Hey Caracalla,

I'm pretty sure the stay is 6 months and I doubt she has to produce any return ticket. You are Italian, right? I doubt she'll have any problems with customs if that is the case.

Have her produce the real and the fake ticket, and explain the situation to customs. They'll work with you (at least they should). Good luck.
