With revenue sharing being a factor, I wouldn't be surprised if the owners decided that making the Lakers and Celtics contenders again would be good for the league. Indeed it is.

I feel like I'm watching teams that are scraped together, instead of well-oiled machines. Teams without true identity. Like Cleveland in last year's final, but with better players.

I hear ya. Besides Detroit, do any programs grow a team and team chemistry these days?

Phoenix kinda does, but they create a team chemistry of not caring about defense

exactly, and it all smells so fishy just one yr after the spurs and the cavs met in the finals which had one of the lowest TV ratings in nba finals history, even lower than the spurs v. nets from '03. i'm not saying david stern made it happen, but i'm not saying he did not make it happen either!
