I agree, He does. However I will be the first one to say I was wrong about saying the Celtics would have a really bad season. Boy was I ever wrong about that prediction.

As others have stated, until Kevin McHale handed KG to the Celts on a silver platter, the Celts were going nowhere this year and there is a very good chance Ainge would have been run out of town.

Let's not forget that until this year, Danny's tenure as Celtics GM had been largely one cluster after the next. Doesn't everyone remember when Danny thought they should be using brain wave patterns to pick players?

So, does Danny Ainge deserve credit...Yes. Does Kevin McHale deserve at least as much credit...YES. And so does Doc Rivers...
