NOW is the time to bet on the Lakers for the series
This is gonna be a repeat of Heat-Mavs to a certain extent, we just don't know the winner. We've seen the script before, we know in our hearts it's coming. I'm not saying that the Lakers are a lock but they're an excellent bet considering what we've seen in this series and we saw in the Heat-Mavs series. They're just a good value now, that's all.

Kobe will be cast in the role of Wade and he might do a better job than Wade did.

All I'm saying is, the Lakers still have a good shot and the Lakers will be the ones getting all the calls for the next three games if not the rest of the series (again see Heat-Mavs).

Hey, it's dramatic TV and it can be very profitable for us. Personally I like the scripted stuff, it's easier to predict.

Might have to consider hedging off my Bos +160 bet and guaranteeing profit either way...I have no idea what happened in the Heat/Mavs series. Home team domination?

The Mavs dominated the series for the first two games at home and three quarters + on the road. Then suddenly Wade went into overdrive, he took over the rest of the series and the refs called a foul seemingly every time Wade drove to the basket. It was the most ridiculous thing I've seen in sports.

The Heat took four straight and the refs had more to do with it than the players. Look for a repeat of that, imho.

I had stated that the Celtics had 27 more FT's this game, I was incorrect, they really had 28 more FT's.

Oh Shit...wow. Definitely going to lock in profit since I could see Kobe going nuts and refs backing LA over the next 3.

Funny someone mentioned the Heat/Mavs. The Heat had a lot of Veterans that were salivating for a ring, Celts are in the same boat as the Heat. KG, Pierce, Allen etc all want it so bad. Kobe already has 3 rings so he doesn't want it as bad as the Big 3.

You must have a crystal ball.

Why did you want to take the Lakers in our competition then?

How much money do you want to donate to Vegas?

Obviously your are "fearless" to lose a lot. Stop encouraging these Lakers. Go with the guys wearing the color of money.

That's really a non-factor at this point, imho. The mavs had a lot of veterans who were salivating for a ring too.

Gasol is a world champion, Odom is a former Olympian, this championship will put Jackson over the top, Kobe has to prove he can win without Shaq and validate his MVP, etc. etc.

Both teams are motivated. If the games continue to be called like they were tonight, the refs will decide this thing, imho.

Just like the Hawks should of been swept. Things that should happen dont usually occur. Thats life.

I don't want to bet the series. I'm thinking Lakers ML in game 3 is free money. I'm simply making a prediction and sharing it with everybody because I think it's true.

Isn't that what this place is all about?

I'll take it game by game and see how things go. Right now I think Lakers ML game 3 is free money. I also believe the other things I've said in this thread.

Yea, I doubt they'll go down 3-0. Stern wouldnt allow it, plus the "magical home court advantage" should set in.

throw the cash in the trash. betting a series of 4 on a team down 2-0, especially in the finals vs. Boston is nuts!!!! And yes I would say the same if lal was up 2-0 I'd say not waste money on Boston. Simple math.

Specifically, only 14 of the 222 teams to lose the first two games in a best-of-seven NBA playoff series have come back to win.

Reference to this stat is in this article

As 9 point favorites, they're actually favored to do it. The moneyline will be about -450 which means that vegas only expects the Celtics to win one game in 4.5. The Lakers will be favored to win all three! How can you say it can't happen?

ESPN is reminding us of Wade's performance at the most appropriate time (see the original post in this thread):

I think the Lakers are coming roaring back.
