I have bunch of 14k gold, that I want to sell..

Where's the best place to sell and what's the best method to do so.

What steps should I take.

Stay away from those mail order places. Find a gold dealer/buyer in your area or trade for SBR Points.

Find a local buyer.

Don't expect much though. If you paid 200 bucks for a chain 5 years ago in high school, I would expect less than half of that back.
