I never wish ill will against another gamblers bet. It would have been nice if he won. Lets face the facts here. Everyone is talking about hedging the bet. It was the right move. Like someone said earlier it most likely was his bankroll. He will be koy about it and say I want to let it ride, but it is because he doesn't have the funds to hedge. Hey, I have been there many, many times.

Yeah, I feel bad for the guy. I don't think had the money either.
Normally when I do a parlay, I try place games that only starts around the same time together. This is to prevent me from having to make decision as to hedge or not to hedge.

In your situation, you had several hours to decide, and as a gambler it's only natural to want more. But the right play was to take the cash, that is just waiting to be handed to you.
