I wouldnt buy a Kia....but I am still one of those buy American guys. Kia's do come with a 100,000 mile warranty though, which is tough to beat.

Those 100,000 mile warranties aren't so straight forward. It's only on the drive train and you must do yearly upkeep on the car. And get a new timing belt placed at 75,000 miles. It's not cheap to keep the warranty from voiding.

Most companies are offering very aggressive pricing on their small line sedans (civic, focus, etc). If space is not so much of an issue get into one of these for 15k.
