I am thinking most who renew the sbr pro status will be those outside the U.S There really isn't that much incentive and our points lost value.

#77Hey JJ, I plan on talking to a few people at the Bash regarding this. Taking the free plays away was a big thing for me. Even if all of the feedback has been positive and reports of money being safe, it comes from the books or someone that is affiliated with a book. Adding new stuff to the SBR store is a start, but the value of a point reduced greatly to US posters without sportbook redeemable options.Comment -

#78Yep. Exactly. 3 or 4 eBay gift cards a year, great for picking up little gadgets here and there. Hell I'm getting 500 pts on my anniversary in 2 months, love this place!Comment -

#79I think if SBR is expecting PROs to re-up, they need to treat us like a sportsbook treats customers who re-deposit. Offer a significant points bonus for re-upping your pro status. That alone would probably make it worthwhile to many of us. Just asking us to redeposit or have an account balance of whatever won't do it for most people I think.Comment -

#82Im not renewing unless FP come back, the reason SBR gave for taking them away in the first place is BS and I think they will definitely see some bad outcomes come from their decision.Comment -

#83I know there are legit legal isses with the sportbook cash. It's just an insentive that no longer exsits for US players. People will weigh that into wheather or not a renewal of PRO status is worth it. Going more local myselfComment -

#89i dont think there is a point to become pro again unless we have freeplays. SBR removed the freeplays like June 1st. so by middle of august, that should be enough time for the legal situation to settle down. then sbr should put freeplays back in the sbr store.Comment -

#97As long as I don't have to deposit into a new book, I'll stay Pro, nice to get a few perks for something I would do anyway. If I have to deposit into a new book or make a deposit within a specified time frame for one of the books I already use, then it's doubtful. I guess it also depends on what the online gambling environment is like at that time (my anniversary is Dec.) With the crackdown on online poker, the future is a little uncertain for other forms of online gambling.Comment -

#98Perks are great, but until we know exactly whats involved in renewing, its impossible to say.
but i think 99% of people would agree that requiring pros to open a new account is not going to go over well.Comment -

#102Industry is not what it was months/years ago, becoming difficult to deposit/withdrawl (seeing as books will take your $25 deposit but require a $200 withdrawl minimum), also no bonuses left pretty much. Losing interest in online gambling and it's a sin because it used to be really fun & to know it will never go back up only down is a shame but oh well I guess you could always sell drugs or somethin

#103maybe more SBR trivia would be a draw. pros get 2 shots a week, which is amazing. another day or two would be good.
or maybe daily/weekly pro-only contests that apply to all pros (not dependent on which accounts you have).Comment -

#104would be great if U.S. players could get sportsbook cash and bonuses in the store.

#105I won't be renewing either. Was in it for the freeplays and bonuses at the books. Like many have said the way it is for US players now at the books i won't be putting any money in. Was great fun at SBR while it lasted though. You guys do a great job running this website.Comment
