SAN DIEGO (AP)—The San Diego Padres had the worst record in baseball two weeks ago. Now, they’re making history.
Scott Hairston’s leadoff homer in the 10th inning gave San Diego a 2-1 win over the New York Mets on Saturday night, as the Padres set a major league record with their fourth straight 2-1 victory.
San Diego became the first team in major league history to win four consecutive games by a 2-1 score, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

Mets aren't going to win any championships when they keep losing to teams like the Padres.

I'v got the Padres today and had alredy recorded the play as a loss with the Mets up 3-0, but now their back 3-3..lol The reason for the Mets struggles is hitting with runners in scoring position. Yesterday they had bases loade with non out and couldn't get a single run!!! Phillies and the Marlins gonna fight for the division titel this year with the Phillies as the winner and the Marlins get the wild card. Meanwhile the Mets gonna finnish way under the .500 mark..
