never heard of peepsplace before but i checked it out and the first thread i opened was about how SBR is working with the feds and everyone was saying screw sbr and this and that. needless to say i wont be signing up there

I think there needs to be a mass funeral to save some costs for all the dead forums like covers, eog, peeps etc.

You can't judge a site by an isolated issue like betED. Covers should probably stick to what they do well which is stats, selling picks and content. SBR buys some content from Covers. We are a happy customer.

Their success did seem to breed the ole 'we are better and much bigger than thou' attitude. A few years ago they had something like 20x the traffic of SBR but now its neck and neck so it would probably behoove them to peel back some of their 'We are the Greatest' arrogance.

What killed Covers is they thought they were a sportsbook advertising business and they were not

Its a stat service and they got away from it

They became who will give us most money to advertise regardless of how bad a book is
