sure will. Especially closer to game time when A LOT more bets pour in that line will become a live. Just like the jazz/lakers series. Swear that line moved everyone 30-60 minutes coming closer to gametime.

Lakers win this game. I'll take the mind of Phil Jackson and the talent and experience of Kobe to make the necessary adjustments in game 2.

i have never enjoyed taking advantage of wacky lines such as this in my life.. first i get bos +180 for series, and now i could be getting pts at home with celts.. unreal.. best team in the NBA by far, and getting pts at home?? lol
if this game is played in the regular season, you know what the line would be.. Bos -5.5.. that's right, BOS -5.5..
laker bettors would lay -5.5 in this game, that's how sick this is. i love it because it's only putting more money in my pocket. keep betting lakers, i am loving it.

i already have a decent amount on the series.. i dont want to risk too much on one game, cause it's only 1 game. and anything can happen. but if they are getting pts, i will definitely put a decent amount, and if they win, 2 straight celtics bets that win, and up 2-0 in the series getting +180.. talk about a big game tomorrow..

It might even go to BOS +3. It's a gift for those of us who know what will happen.
Boston an underdog at home! That's crazy. That means Boston ML will be even more profitable. For those who can't see tomorrow, here's the result:
Boston SU & ATS
LA/Boston OVER 190.5
Final score: 101-96

So Celtics win one game and now they are the best team in the NBA? Lets get real for a second. This is the same team who damn near lost out of the playoffs twice to crap competition and now we are crowning them the NBA's best. I am sure alot of people were calling them the best during the first three rounds. Now I think Celtics are good but I wouldn't count Lakers out here. If Lakers win the game tonight then Celtics will be in trouble because we all know how they play on the road in the playoffs and how good Lakers are at home in the playoffs.
Like I have said in the past when so many were doubting the Lakers in the series vs the Jazz: Lakers have the best coach, a deep bench, and the best player in the NBA. Kobe has scored 30+ every time but once in this playoffs after a poor game. I wouldn't expect anything different tonight. Lakers aren't going away just because Boston got one game. This series is far from over.

No, because Celtics PLAY GREAT against GREAT teams, hence there FIRST ROAD win against the Pistons as appose to the Hawks. Past is the Past, and they are in the best possible present with the Lakers. But hey, if you want to spin the past around, they beat the Lakers every time this year by a good amount, and the rest of the western conference for that matter.

ONE GAME. They have won one game for all those Celtic fans who think that suddenly Celtics are the best team ever for getting one win in a 7 game series. If Boston wins tonight all they did is protect home court. I am not saying Boston isn't a good team just can't stand seeing people over react to one win like the series should just be over. Lakers are favored at the supposed great Celtics own building, that should tell you something right there.

all that tells me is roxy is a very smart lines maker...the best in the buisness...and will ensure what every book wants
even action
everyone has been on the fakers cock...sucking Kobe off every chance they get
but until he can win one without shaq....he will always have that monkey on his back....this is his chance...dont blow it Kobe!...your fans might commit suicide

Pierce OK in shootaround, will play in Game 2
June 8, 2008
WALTHAM, Mass. -- Boston Celtics forward Paul Pierce is ready to go for Game 2 of the NBA finals against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Pierce took part in Sunday morning's shootaround at the team's practice facility and showed no ill-effects of the right knee sprain that sent him to the locker room in a wheelchair during Game 1.
Pierce was wearing a white sleeve over his knee as he played pickup with Sam Cassell at the end of practice. Coach Doc Rivers says Pierce will be fine.
The news isn't so certain on center Kendrick Perkins. He sat out the shootaround and will be a game-time decision for Game 2 because of a high ankle sprain.

I have been watching lines and that is how I play. I have noticed and been keeping track of it, that when one team is favored and then the other team ends up favored before game time, stick with the team that was 1st favored. It has worked wonders for me.

the people that have been into the nba playoffs big time in the 08 have been brainwashed by the home team success so far .
this can be a bad thing to know tooo much . while just go with the home team has worked at a high clip thus far in the playoffs there are always the drop off games for the #s .
to know too much can work for you just like it can work against you ...
well ? why does it appear more people are betting on la then ? because most people are not into it from a pro perspective . most bet lakers for entertainment so the betting #s are greater for the lakers in game 2 just like they were for game 1 .
why ? because everyone knows about kobe bryant . is no different than if his name was mj . is the same way of thinking ... (game 1 is no different than game 2 for the average sports fan , they liked la in game 1 so they damn sure like la for game 2)
so while the smarter than the average entertainment sports buff knows deeply about the home team advantage thus far and even in years past , more people are drawn to kobe/mj and would put their $ on him any day before they would a garnett or a pierce .
kobe already has won championships ... other la players as well ..
the average entertainment junkie realizes and knows this , ooh how he knows this ! he has seeeen it !!!! he has watched the superstar cash his ticket time and time again ...
the pro or even the trends player will think more about the home team success and tell himself over and over "they home , they home , they home , they wont lose at home , look at all the home teams that have had success so far " as well as in years past .... those voices and ehoes are created from past results , not from present reality .
to stay completely open minded > i must admit because la players have been there and done that is also the past and falls into the same cateogory of past thinking just like gauging a series by home team success or the known advantage it holds ...
