I really really think this is the wrong side and am very tempted to go under the total. WSH is an unders ballpark and WSH is just flat out pathetic against left hand pitching. Situationally, WSH almost always plays under when the posted total is around 8/8.5 (> 67% unders). Moreover, their starter tonight has struggled mightly as his ERA/WHIP would suggest. But upon closer inspection you see the starts he has done most poorly in have all been on the road. His home ERA/WHIP are spectacular and that should hold to form against the light hitting (but in form) Giants today.
Unless both pitchers come out flat, I am not sure how this one goes over the total given 1) S. Hills's strong home numbers 2) WSH's weak offense 3) WSH's horrid against lefties and 4) Under stadium.Comment -

GL BB I highly disagree but we only have to wait ten minutes to see! It is a pitchers stadium and yes bad vs lefties but the hottness of SF bats the bad Wash bullpen, sanchez is not very good and Hill may be decent at home but slumpig recentlyComment -

Don't get me wrong, it certainly could go over and certainly the warming weather is going to influnce that. My contention is that both pitchers need to have poor outings for it to go over. I just think Hill will have a very solid outing and WSH's struggles agaisnt LHP will continue against a good young pitcher in JS. If both pitchers have decent outings, then there is little shot for this to go over IMO.Comment -

I am not losing faith yet but starting to look not so good there have been a lot of runners stranded, two broken bats that coulda been hits, and few that coulda went out the park may just be time for this streak to end and another to begin but like i said still 5 innings to play we just aren't catching any breaks yetComment -
