They need pitching. Sabathia isn't as dominant as usual, Burnett still isn't very good, Hughes sucks, Colon has actually pitched better than expected but probably headed to the DL and Gracia isn't very good either. Joba to the DL, Soriano been banged up most of the season. They won't replace Jeter, there would be a an uprising in the Bronx.

They are are not going to replace Jeter after signing him to that contract.

Not sure Wilpon would trade Reyes to the Yankees. I think the Mets will trade Reyes, to try and get some young cheap, talent into their system.

I agree. Reyes isn't going to the Mets and Jeter isn't being replaced yet. I think Reyes goes to a team in contention like San Francisco, Cincinnati, or St Louis. If Lowrie and Scutaro weren't playing well, I'd even throw Boston into the mix. They always get involved when big names are up for trade or in the free agent market.

you guys have no respect for dj. i think he is the best player of our generation. and he did EVERYTHING the right way. so politically correct it sickens me sometimes. 5 friggin rings. and he played a big part in everyone of them and had he been in his normal ss spot, they may have beat arizona. i hate that he never won an mvp. he could have won over morneau but bball is so hr based and they expect player not to use hgh or steroids (bautista)

Yanks suck. Never been a Yankee fan but at least they used to be interesting/fun to watch. They are so boring to watch this year, which sucks cause they are always on espn, the only channel I get that has baseball.
