Soccer must be #1 for sure, when it comes to worldwide bets. All the world exept America follows soccer ^^
Horse Racing is the second, adrenaline and fast results, you can know the results of your bet in 10 minutes, pretty much like casino gambling.
Basket should be the 3th - Even in Europe we follow basket a lot! We have our own leagues where we bet, and then the world known NBA.
