shit league, you obviously dont watch it much, i agree the extra point for a missed FG is a bit strange but NFL should take a rule or two from up there which in my opinion would make it better, for example the overtime format. Finally after many yrs of talking about it the NFL tweaked the overtime format. CFL allows more than one guy to go in motion before the snap. The NFL rule for just letting one guy do it is bad in my opinion. Both leagues are entertaining but the CFL is the better league to watch for action, scoring, special teams excitement.

if you're going to be in MTL for the rogers cup.. that is from Aug 5 to Aug 14. on aug 11, The Als are playing edmonton at molson stadium downtown overlooking the mtl skyline. that place has a great atomosphere.. of course habs fans are loudest in nhl and they love their hockey first.. however, CFL and the als are so freakin huge here and the fans are so rowdy at home games..we dont have mlb, nfl or nba, so this is all we have.. they love their als here and we are defending back to back champs going for a threepeat. you might want to catch a CFL game here. it's something to see.. but tix will not be easy to get on same day.. it's a tough ticket..

Is that why they moved from a 60,000 capacity stadium to a 25k college one?

it had nothing to do with selling tickets. it's because they wanted them out in summer outodoors. no one wanted to be indoors in august..playoff time, they always go to olympic stadium and get 60,000 + fans, and they sell out in 4 hrs.. football is loved in montreal. it's way more popular in montreal than the rest of canada combined. this is a real football town. i bet you we will be 1st to get an nfl team in canada. they are already discussing it behind closed doors. if we get one, win or lose, we'll have 69,000 fans every home game, that you can take to the bank.

Its pretty exciting watching it. The field is wider so obviously there is more offense. I still would watch the UFL above it. UFL has some top premiere qbs of yester-year.

Now, tell me this. Why doesn't any sports book offer Aussie Rules Football . I actually like watching it on ESPN3 at 5am

Dude you dont even have to watch the CFL to come up with that but if your in Montreal I'm sure you check it out. Of course the better players are down south making 10-20-30+ times more in salary than a player in the CFL at the same position.

CFL is not better, the rules of the CFL make it more probable for an exciting finish. How many times in the NFL do we see a team with the ball with 2-3 mins run the clock out or close to because the other team has no timeouts. I know its part of the game but come on, it s the most exciting time of the game, don't you want to make it conducive to exciting game changing plays late? Illiminate the 3-4 runs up the gut late and an anti-climatic finish.

CFL In the last three minutes of a each half, the clock stops whenever the ball becomes dead. CFL has 20 seconds to snap the football while the NFL has 40 seconds to run an offensive play.

Nfl simply needs some simple rule changes to make it even better. Some clock changes and man in motion rule would be interesting.
I like the CFL better for its aerial game(3 downs), speed, wider field, and end zones that are 20yrds instead of ten. Anyways can we get some football back already, this arena football with QB throwing bombs intentionally to bounce off a net to be caught by a waiting receiver is killing me!!

CFL is what it is. They are professional athletes and the games are interesting and entertaining. Not for those who continuously comparing it to other leagues. Comparing the CFL to the NFL is like comparing the hookers at the Del Rey, Costa Rica to the hookers that JJ calls from Craig's list.
