They took all of the players funds to bet on the lock, Stay Thirsty, in the Belmont Stakes.

Stay Thirsty ran 2nd at long odds and was part of a huge exacta/trifecta.

Plus he paid $19.40 to place.

Properly bet, he made a nice (and possibly gigantic) chunk of change for backers.

Bleacher Report's racing columnist on Stay Thirsty:
""I assumed his is history of bad showings against the top horses meant he was just out of his league in this race. Even at 20/1 this horse seemed like a bad bet.

I was wrong. He ran a great race and has a second place finish to show for it.""

You would have grounds to make fun if Stay Thirsty was out of the money - but that's not the case.

Quit displaying how little you know about racing, there are enough morons on this site as is.
