Props to Joe for letting him finish it. Would've hated to see that 350 LB fat bastard come in and blow another game for him.

Good decision since Saito threw 30 pitches the day before and lost the game. Just glad Broxton wasn't called from the buffet table.

Yes, Kuroda cost me and my family some food on the table tonight. That God the Orioles +162 prevents us from starving!

The Dodgers made me happy tonight.
Suffice it to say I'm not picking them for Saturday, though.

Haven't looked yet guys, but my gut instinct is pass. Will know for sure in couple of hours. Besides, why would anybody care who I like with my MLB record right now?

Hard to bet against a guy that literally shut down the Cubs in Wrigley till Saito lost the game for him...His stuff is nasty right now....I dont think Ill play this game I like Detroit at home better tomorrow but Zambrano sucked ass last start

Taking a second look I think you're probably right. For me part of the issue is whether LA can put out any offense.
Probably going to skip this one.

OK, now that I have studied things, I actually like the CUBS quite a bit. In fact, they are my POD. Lowe is very inconsistent. Yeah he's been great his last three starts, but he was terrible his previous four and you never know what to expect from him. He is a bit of a head case that doesn't respond well to a little adversity. Zambrano is a head case in a different sense, but he could certainly pitch and he has a allowed a grand total of THREE earned runs in his last four starts (29.2 innings) in LA.

When you back a team, that's the type of effort you want from your starting pitcher. Joe Torre made the right call and left him in. I wish more managers would do stuff like that.
