depends.. my vacations are to st somewhere usually and i usually go where they don't have internet.. i remember going to the keys last year and stayiing in islamorada and at a super resort and i get to the room and call and say you have wi fi and they say no you can hook up the phone cord for dial up. i remember going to one of the small and i mean small monroe county libraries and parked outside and trying to get the signal just to bet on a game before they opened so the old women wouldnt kick me out.

Used to when younger before cell phones. I remember camping and having to drive 20 miles round trip to a pay phone to call ESB.
