Best Lakers - Celtics SERIES Price you see...drop em here
Looks like Lakers are going to be big chalk at home! Celts up 1 in the series and a favorite on Sunday but the books still think the Lakers will whoop up at home and steal one along the way.

    The Greek
    201 Los Angeles Lakers -125
    202 Boston Celtics +105

Lakers may actually end up favored in Game 2, and they will be betwen -7 and -8 in in LA.

The linesmakers have this series very wrong. Celtics are a better team any way you look at it and they have home court advantage and are already up a game. The addition of Bynum would make the series price justified.

Although I dont know the extent of Pierce and Perkins injuries and how they will affect the series. But assuming everyone is 100%, the Lakers are not a great team. Boston is a great team.

Do the books know that Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen are playing on the same team now? Do they realize what that means?

Lakers aren't a great team? How do you figure that?

The Lakers will be a great team next year with Bynum. They just are not a great team right now. KG is 100x better than Gasol. KG is a former MVP and almost won it again this year. Paul Pierce and Ray Allen are 2 perennial all-stars. Boston is a very physical team that can light you up from outside or inside. Oh and they are the best defensive team in the NBA.

The Lakers are a finnesse team. KG and Perkins are gonna wear Gasol completely out over the course of this series. Gasol is a finnesse player. The Lakers need Bynum to be considered a great team.

Boston is 1 all-star better than the lakers and are a more physical team. The Lakers also arent nearly the defensive team Boston is. Boston is at least as good as the Lakers on offense and leaps and bounds better on defense.

Right on target. Even if the Celtics win game 2. I think the Lakers will still be 6+ favs at home.

Say what you will but g2 is pick'em and the Lakers will sweep games 3-5 over 40% of the time. The Lakers should be favored to win at this point.

I think you have it backwards, as it sounds like you are implying the Lakers will be a smaller favorite if the Celtics win Game 2.

If the Lakers are down 0-2, they will be around -8 in Game 3.

                            If tied 1-1, Lakers -7.

No. I dont have it backwards, LT. If the Celtics win game 2, the Lakers spread will be 6. If the Lakers win game 2, the Lakers will be favored by 7-8. The Spread will not increase if the Lakers lose the next game as opposed if they win.

Let us make this clear: If the Celtics win g2 the Lakers will be a larger favorite than they would be if they won g2 and went home tied 1-1. If the Lakers are down g2 they WILL win g3 and everyone who is anyone knows this. If the series is tied 1-1 g3 could go either way.
