I remember watching those scab games. The tv networks tried to hype them like it was really the cowboys vs eagles in a pivotal division game. But problem was that high school games were just as good back then.

I am pretty sure last go around both the players and the league signed something stating replacement players aren't an option if another lock occurs...

I remember the scab games and the pointspreads that were still put on them. Was a riot staying on top of which teams had the most real players cross the pick-it line.

The league has already made a statement saying they would not use scab players.
In fact I dont think they could use scab players even if they wanted to.
87 was a strike (organized by he players) \ This year is a lock-out (organized by the owners)

As much as I'd like to see scabs (given no other option), unfortunately, everything here is exactly correct.

Didn't a lot of the 49ers cross the picket line? I know Joe Montana was famous for it, but I looked up the box scores for those scab games and I see a lot of other familiar names like Roger Craig, Dwight Clark, Russ Francis, etc.
