Lakers were HUGE favorites that year, something like -600. But this is different. The Lakers were rather complacent that year, believing the hype that they were the best thing since sliced bread. This year, a lot of people feel the Celtics are the better team despite the odds before this series, so the Lakers have somethng to prove.
