    Sportsbetting Books?
Are there any good sportsbetting books out there that are must reads? I'm talking about actual books, not just magazines. I know that guys like Feist, JR Miller, Lem Banker, Roxy Roxborough, and Phil Steele all have actual books at Gambler's Book Club. Has anybody read any of these, and if so, are there any that most sportsbettors should read? As always, any help is appreciated.

I haven't seen much for the advanced gambler. The more advanced the book, the less prospective buyers there are. Most of the stuff I've seen is in tout language. I remember thinking JR's site was good for beginners but after that he is still selling picks.

I read a book about four years back that detailed the two lives of these sports gamblers that lived in Vegas...can't remember the name, but it was pretty good...

You do not need any books

          1. Line shop

          2. Same unit Betting

          3. No Parlays

          4. Don't Chase

          5. Limit the amount of games you bet

          Better than any book

Maybe I'll have a gander at this site then. I have read bits and pieces of S. Wong's blackjack stuff. From what I know, he seems to be the man in regards to blackjack. I learned to count cards from his stuff. I've never been a good bettor though in blackjack. I win but for the amount of hours I spend at the table, the dollars per hour return is not worth it because I can't make myself press enough when the deck is in my favor. Too freakin conservative. I could work the drive thru at McDonalds and make more.

                      JJ,

I know all this, I was just curious if there were betting books out there that people really liked or considered helpful. It sounds like that Sharp Sports Betting might be a decent read. Anybody got any more?
