The last grand slam champion outside the top 4 favorites to win was Del Potro in the 09" US Open. That is going to change at Wimbledon. Please watch Raonic play on grass. The serve is nearly unbreakable and with his consistent ground strokes, he is a major sleeper at 70 to 1 to win this year.

I hope Fed wins it. Probably one of the last chances to get another Grand Slam title for him and the swan song of his magnificent career.

          Fade Joker, Fedex and Nadal

Andy Murray got better chance imo. If he plays with some consistency and he needs some luck

I hope the women's semifinals include Julia Goerges, Sorana Cirstea, Ana Ivanovic, and Maria Kirilenko.

What are the odds on this?

You must all be joking fading nadal. Bar any injury, i say nadal . This guy mental toughness will make him prevail. When it comes to the big stage, he is always there.

Considering it's his first run on grass, it's highly unlikely he's going to be a major player in the final outcome. He might be able to get a few wins depending on his draw, but he won't be involved in the matches that matter at the end of the tournament IMO. At 70:1, he's what the price suggests ... a long shot. Now if you've got 70:1 on him at the US Open, I'd gobble that up. He's much more likely to do damage there.

I like the optimism for Raonic and I hope he does well...he makes me proud to be a Canadian because our tennis players haven't done much - outside of the doubles specialist Nestor of course.

I don't see him winning...i'm hoping for a solid tourney though...in a few years he should be a big contender on the hardcourt and grass tourneys.

LOL right....you mean the andy murray that had trouble winning a match after his aussie open loss? aside from his choking in grand slams even talent-wise he is behind the 3 you mentioned.

Big Dick Raonic on fast US hardcourt will be dangerous. He can steal matches he has no business winning just with his cheap serve points and getting the "Raonic break." That means, his opponent is on second serve like 4 of the 6 points in a service game where he breaks, along with giving him 2 or 3 unforced errors.
