i know royals have to win sometime , but in case you didnt know they are 2 - 8 on thursdays while chic is 6 - 1 on thursdays . since kc snapped their 12 game losing streak with 2 wins at home over clev they dropped the first 2 in chic to start a new losing streak ..
sox are 7 - 1 at home when the total is 8 - 8.5 .
sox have yet to lose to the royals this year , at 2 - 0 and have crushed them overall in recent history .
royals are also in the trying to avoid the sweep category which is never good , as more teams lose the 3rd game and get swept . hot vs cold ... going bad vs going good

now just because i typed all this kc will win . gotta love it !

15 innings last night have wiped out Whitesox relief pitching for tonight. It's also much harder to sweep at home in AL due to DH. See what happens to the Sockies tonight...

Those 15 innings exhausted the Royals pigpen too. Hell, it was Gobble who got up there in the 15th and lost the game after throwing only 5 or so pitches. And the WS just got Loiaza off waivers, who'll be ready to step in from the bullpen when the time comes. Contreras stands a better chance of going deeper in this game than Meche does, and once the WS (who hit the long ball yesterday) get to the tired KC bullpen, they'll probably start lighting it up. Good luck, but it's hard to see any value in a KC team that's the worst in the majors. GL.

Bet against the Royals vs. any good pitcher, any solid hitting team, or away. That pretty much eliminates 90% of the games, which makes it easy. I have faded them for the past 2 weeks. Unfortunately, I went very large with the Royals the night they blew the 5 run lead with 2 outs in the 9th. Thought I had that one pegged, which I did for 26 outs.

I had Cleveland huge against KC last week with Lee vs. Meche (-150) and couldn't believe that I pulled out the 5-4 win with a crappy base-running mistake by KC costing them a run. Like I said, you might see value with a Meche at +155, but don't be quick to discount the White Sox after Ozzie lit a fire under their ass. Especially after Jenks blew a save last night and the Sox rallied for the win, I was sure they'd pull out the sweep today. Thankfully both my teams, Philly and Chi-town, came thru today.
