Ok, here's one of mine. I wish I could figure out XBox but I can't and I wish I had the patience to figure out most computer games but I just don't have the time but I really do love a good strategy game. Here's an easy one I enjoy but am wearing it out and wish there was another like it that I could try. I am a huge fan of Heroes: Might and Magic V.

You're not off base, I think I misunderstood you ; I thought you were referring to League of Legends (mentioned by rfr3sh), which definitely does have a cartoony/anime-look.

Heroes VI looks fairly similar to V, while III would be best described as "realistic-2d". Give III a try if you've never played it before; I still play it once in a while w/ my brother or wife.

II was kinda cartoony though, maybe you saw that one.
