Celts will either cover game 1 or 2 guaranteed
Haven't done any recent research on NBA finals, but the Celts are about as good as they come for a home team (35-6). Pick your poison because they will cover one of these 1st two games. If they lose the 1st they will certainly cover the second, you can bet your entire bankroll on that one.

Unless your extremely confident on the Celts today, I would only play 1/3 of my bankroll. If they lose, I will drop most of it on the next game. No way Boston Loses two in a row at home.

Sherlock, narrow it down, and choose one. That will help us make money. I like the Celtics in Game 1, no reservations.

I like not losing a third of my bankroll on anything. 25% of the time the Celtics will fail to cover a game in the first 2 (barring pushes).

You have Dick Bavetta on your side. I can't argue with that.

If you like money, then you bet a reasonable amount on the 1st game on the Celts. A team with a 35-6 record at home is not going to lose two in a row. This year playoffs also seems to be favoring the home team more also, so why break the trend now. The Celt's are going to be favored by no more than 2.5-3 for the 1st two, the chances of Boston covering that type spread is far greater because it's only 1 possession.

Well, I think the Lakers are the better team and for that reason alone, I would not call the Celtics a lock here by any means. LA will be anxious to take away home court advantage, so why not tonight?

Well if the takers win tonight, they're certainly guarantee to lose game 2, you can bet everything you got on that.

I wonder how I should proceed with the next game now that my theory has gone out of the window, since game 1 covered.

Lakers ML for 3.5% of my BR for me. Seems I may have to settle for +115ish.

I have celts for series as a side bet with one of my buddies on the street already, since he's a big laker fan.
